Santa’s on a bike has been strangled by red tape. The Charity
Commission has visited us demanding work with menaces! So I have
lost a committee and with it the ability to raise cash for good
causes. Is it only me that remembers when the Charity Commission was
formed the government’s assurances that small groups would not have
to go through the extra work and expense of becoming registered? Oh
well big brother has spoken; we will continue to do what we can,
such as our annual Toy Run to Bristol with
prezzies an d gifts for children's charities. Dates for your

Santa’s run 8th December. Start at Either Bridgwater, Frome,
Forest of Dean or
Gloucester to meet at Ashton Gate Park and Ride and then on to the
chosen venue.
We will not, until a new committee is found, be able to accept
cash or cheques etc. as there is nothing to stop me drinking it!
Any volunteers to form a new committee please feel free to
contact me.
